$50 book give-away!

Packing up for an event.

This blog was started for you. A place to post the most frequently asked questions from our team-members, give you a behind-the-scenes look at a real Barefoot business, and offer ideas and support. As a Barefoot Leader, I often receive the Barefoot news in advance -- the news that affects our businesses -- and I want to share it with you.

If you are a team member (anywhere in my down-line) and push that button to follow this Barefoot business blog, you'll receive a chance to win $50 in Barefoot books from me. Leave a comment telling what would help make your business a success and receive another chance at winning. The give-away ends July 31st and is a random-chance drawing.

  3. Hi Richele!! I am so happy with the choice that Dawn made and am looking forward to having you as a leader for my team. I need to know how to find out about events before it's too late to sign up for a spot. I always seen to find out about them too late. And I'd love to hear your experiences about how to make them successful. Thanks so much!!

  4. I think knowing what has worked for others with more experience and time in the business will help me to take my business to the next level.

  5. I'd have to agree with Heidi, I need more confidence when it comes to doing events (and more inventory lol) Also, like "harmony" said - I'm not sure how to find events in time to sign up. I'd love to see some event tips on this blog! :)

  7. More hours in the day! That's what would help me! I'm hoping that being accountable to a team will help me make the time!

  8. I'd like to learn more about doing school fundraisers or school based events. While I'm not losing money doing craft fairs, more often than not I'm just breaking even. Even the ones where I make a profit often means I'm making less than minimum wage for the time put into them. I figure I'm not targeting the right crowd and would like to know how to find the "right" one.

  9. I'll add school events to the above list, April. When doing a craft fair I try to negotiate a smaller fee or no fee by offering children's activities.

  10. Richele, I am so pleased to be a part of your team and look forward to learning from your experiences. I, too, need to learn more about fundraisers or school based events as well as any tips for online sales success.

  12. Hi and welcome Stacey and Sandra. I'll post a link to school fundraisers, and balance post (tonight most likely). We'll also talk about making those fundraisers not take up much of your time Stacey.
